FIX Protocol Ltd. (FPL) provides FIXwiki as a service to the FIX community as a useful reference to the FIX specification, together with a structured way for FPL members to provide feedback to the specification and to their fellow community members.

FIXwiki was created by John Cameron of Cameron Edge and donated to FIX Protocol Ltd.

The FIX content of FIXwiki was automatically generated from the FIX Repository as well as from additional data taken directly from the FIX Specification documents themselves.

To edit FIXwiki pages you must request a login account. All login account requests will be reviewed by the FPL Program Office. Account requests will be granted only to those who are employees of a FPL member institution in good standing. You are responsible for protecting and securing your login details. You must keep your login details secret and take all reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorised or fraudulent use of them.

FIXwiki is implemented using MediaWiki, which is the same Wiki software used by Wikipedia.
